About AGES ART

AGES ART is an atelier based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India — a region with a long history of stone carving, and the source of much of the natural stone we work with. We hand-carve natural stone bathtubs, one block at a time, for private residences, hotels, and the architects who specify them.

Our approach is deliberately unhurried: every commission is selected at the quarry, cut, carved and finished by hand, and inspected before it leaves the atelier. We believe a bathtub carved from a single block of stone is an architectural object in its own right, not an appliance.
